Meeting at ICRIER

The third meeting of the 3C-SET Consortium, held at ICRIER, focused on formalizing the consortium’s identity and collaborative structure. Members finalized the logo design, agreed on three flexible logo versions, and outlined plans for copyright registration. The meeting advanced website development, emphasizing independent hosting, legal review for organisational logos, and member input on content and structure, with ACPET leading content collation and steering committee oversight for approvals. Decisions on onboarding new institutions and strategies for engaging industry associations prioritized strengthening the current consortium’s impact before expanding direct company involvement. Plans were set for a national convening to formally announce 3C-SET, structured into thematic tracks run by respective member leads. The consortium confirmed dedicated working groups for responsible mining (CSEP), technology and capacity needs (WRI), demand-supply scenarios (ACPET and TERI), trade and geopolitics (IEEFA and CRF), and circularity (ICRIER and ICCE). On governance, the signed Charter was established as a public declaration for credibility, with biannual advisory meetings for broader strategic input. New research was presented on critical mineral supply chains and dependencies, and meeting schedules were set for the next phase, ensuring continued collaborative progress and sectoral visibility.
